As we are now reaching the last few days in Niigata we are concentrating on looking for Koi. that customers have requested that we have been unable to find to date as well as "chasing harvests"

This morning we started at Isa Koi Farm. Isa San specialises in unique koi. 

He harvested his nisai yesterday, so we were able to select first morning. We were pleased to purchase some Ki Utsuri, Aka Bekko and very unique Asagi - All Female

We then popped up to Kawakame to select a few more small Tategoi. As we were doing so, a new harvest arrived and then couldn't resist an amazing jumbo nisai Tategoi - wow !!

Several farms were quickly visited prior to us purchasing from Kazehiro Tanaka. A unique Gin Rin Tancho Kogane Ochiba was found here and probably never again !

Our rescheduled visit to Marusei was next and after selecting some very nice larger koi including some great Hi Utsuri, Hirasawa San agreed to let us select 2 ponds containing his Tategoi - we were very pleased with these koi.  Unfortunately we were late for Hoshikin, so we will return in the next couple of days to individually photograph our selections.

Hoshikin koi farm is situated next to the famous Dainichi koi farm. Hoshikin is a very famous kohaku bloodline and he now also breeds Showa from Dainichi bloodline. We selected 6 jumbo nisai here at a very good price - don't miss the chance to purchase these koi. There is also a selection of the more expensive stunning koi from this farm available tonight.

The Nageshima jumbo nisai Showa and Tancho Showa are on tonight's email / post along with the Benigoi selected yesterday.
